Michigan DNR is looking into making some necessary changes to the regulations as they relate to the Muskegon River. Over the years, the river has seen a great deal of pressure and illegal activities. In some cases chumming with enormous amounts of eggs has been practiced by some anglers. After chumming, they fish by dragging beads through the water. This hardly seems like a sporting event! There are other issues as well and they have been addressed by the Michigan DNR who held a meeting last night.

Snapping turtles are relatively new to the area and are not native to Utah; they can be very aggressive and dangerous to people, so be careful, and do not approach them.
