A friend of mine in New York State has carved rainbow trout in to the head and foot boards to create a twin bed. Then assembled it with tenon and mortise joints to make it extremely sturdy. It is truely a work of art, and by the way, it is for sale for $1500. Not a bad price for something with that amount of work and artistry. It really looks good.
