In the heat of the summer it might be a good idea to seek out the smaller cooler and remote streams where there is shade and ample opportunity to camp while enjoying the great outdoors. Right in remote Northwestern West Virginia lies Seneca Creek which offers just such an opportunity. It is only 10 miles long but contains a good population of wild trout including brookies as well as rainbows. Check out TroutProStore.com for more about the Seneca. The accessibility is easy and will require some hiking but it can be very rewarding. There are ample hiking trails and the rules for camping are relaxed so why not take the family?
