A Dose Of Inspiration

As I was wandering through the discount book store in Pigeon Forge, TN, I stumbled across a book that caught my eye.  Simply entitled Fly Fishing, it contained captivating pictures of far away places and big fish.  Fly Fishing, by E. Donall Thomas discussed some of the best places on earth to fly fish for a variety of fish species (including several for trout).  I pondered for a few minutes whether or not I should spend the money on it or not, but I eventually gave in with some misgivings.  Well, those misgivings quickly disappeared shortly after reading through it.  While my budget did not allow me to rush out and take some of these excursions, I did find a dose of inspiration in the pages of this book.  See, the value of the book was that it re-energized my sense of discovery and wonderment that had been dissipating as a result of the day in-day out rat race, as well as giving me a goal to try at least one of these trips in the near future.  I'll keep you posted...
