Join our nation’s disabled veterans on the stream in the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains for a two day fly-fishing tournament that you won’t soon forget. We will be fishing on 2 miles of a private stream that has been stocked with over 2,200 fish (18”-30” rainbow & browns).
Saturday Oct 10 -- Open fly fishing - practice day for vets and non-vets, clinics, demonstrations followed by dinner.
Sunday Oct 11-- Competitive Tournament for vets and non-vets or fish for fun.
Can you join us in Spruce Pine and fish with the vets? We will have around 20 disabled vets fishing. You are welcomed to just fish, Saturday or Sunday or in the competitive tournament on Sunday. Saturday night will be a community dinner. We hope to have over 100 in attendance with special entertainment. The mayor of Spruce Pine has declared Oct 10-11 as PHW Days. We are making this a community event.
