The Fly Fishing Museum of the Southern Appalachians 15 miles down the road to Bryson City, NC. Our new location is 210 Main Street, right across from the Swain County Visitor Center. The Grand Opening Celebration is Saturday, September 24 from 1pm – 5pm. Join us for a double celebration in Bryson City, NC as we welcome the inaugural inductees into the Museum's Hall of Fame. The 2016 inductees include Jim Casada (Communications), Walter Cary (Crafts), Wanda Taylor (Recreation) and Phil Bracewell.

Following the Hall of Fame luncheon, we'll celebrate the grand-reopening of the Fly Fishing Museum of the Southern Appalachians at our new home in Bryson City. The Museum will be open to the public September 26. MORE
