Cream Cahill Spinner

The Cream Cahill duns hatch periodically throughout a long period of time but the spinner fall occurs in a much shorter period of time. Mating of the Cream Cahills will usually take place near the banks and vegetation late in the day. The female spinner will then lay her eggs in riffles and runs and the she will fall in the water when she is done egg laying while the male spinners usually fall on the banks. The current will carry the female spinners down to pockets of slower moving water and it will be difficult to see them. However, be assured that if there has been a good hatch, there will be a good spinner fall.
