Once the frost is on the pumpkin, the leaves are off the trees, and your hands are going numb, it's time to hang up the fishing gear -- right? Not for us here at Trout University. We bundle up, gear up, and head out to fish! See the following video for a short synopsis of our latest trip. We only caught four fish (only one shown in the video), but we had a good time fishing in the rain and snow.
Fishing in the cold months is a great time to fish for larger, warier, brown trout. (As long as you're dressed for the weather.) Besides, it's a great way to beat the crowds. Check back later, as we plan on incorporating a course on cold weather trout fishing in our University Curriculum section.
