In the early-morning hours of June 5, Tim Peeler told authorities, the creature – a Cleveland County version of Bigfoot – wandered onto Peeler’s property in the rural northwest part of the county. He was 10 feet tall, with a long beard and yellowish-blond hair according to Tim.
Tim gave him some "rough talk" and Bigfoot retreated, but not before Tim counted six fingers on each hand. Another thing that Tim noticed was that Bigfoot's hair became noticeably lighter in color since the last sighting several years ago. A reporter for the Charlotte Observer commented that the lighter hair was probably due to peroxide bleaching.
The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office has filed the case as a “suspicious person report” but says it is keeping an open mind. In the mean time since Tim's property is close to the South Mountain State Park, you trout fishermen be on the alert when fishing or hiking in that Park. Do take the time to watch this video, it is a hoot!!!
