This has been our "go to" river this winter, and in all winters past. The steady water temperature pouring out of this tailwater dam provides great fishing year-round. Lately, anytime the air temperatures creep above 40 degrees, the bite will be on. The majority of the fish are stacked in the riffles and deep slots, eating blue wing nymphs, midges, and scuds. We are fishing size 18-22's in those patterns. The
