We are off and running for the '11 fishing season. The fishing so far this spring has been nothing but great here in SW Montana. This month we have seen a run up of water on all of our rivers due to some warmer weather and the melting of the low and mid level snow. By no means have we seen the major part of our run off and I expect over the next couple of weeks we will start to see some of the high mountain snow heading towards the valleys. With salmonfly and stone fly season right around the corner we are all starting to look forward to throwing some big dry flies again. If you find yourself itching to get out on the river and Montana is on your agenda give us a call and we will help you put your trip together.
The forecast for the remainder of the summer is great. With the record snowpack we had this year we should have great water throughout the summer months and stretching into the fall.
